Terms, conditions & privacy notice

1. General:

The following terms and conditions are agreed upon between both parties; Pawfect Pet Photography and the client (person purchasing the photoshoot and/or products). By ticking the box provided when purchasing any products or services provided by Pawfect Pet Photography you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the website and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use this website and your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.

The client must be aged 18 years or over. Any children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an parent/guardian.

2. Additional payments:

Travel expenses:

The cost of the photographer’s travel expenses are included in the photoshoot price for photoshoot locations within a 25 mile radius of Carmarthen town centre (as determined by google maps). Photoshoot locations outside of this radius are charged an additional £0.50 per mile.

Entrance fees:

If the chosen photoshoot location occurs additional costs (e.g. parking costs, entrances fees or any other additional fee associated with the chosen photoshoot location), Pawfect Pet Photography is not responsible for payment of these costs on behalf of the client.

3. Owner's responsibility:

The animals and people who are present as a result of the photoshoot (both interacting and observing) will remain the client’s responsibility at all times; before, during and after the photoshoot. They are not photographer’s responsibility at any time. If at any point, the client feels the safety of their pet and/or the persons interacting/observing the photoshoot is compromised, the client should inform the photographer immediately, and the photographer will cease this action immediately. This includes but is not limited to; the positioning of the animals or people, the provision of treats, food or toys, factors influenced by the environment, etc

4. Photo requests:

Clients are encouraged to engage with the photoshoot by making reasonable photo requests in advance. Although all best efforts will be made in order to fulfil the clients wishes in terms of the specific photographs they desire, the photographer may be limited in terms of the location choice or the animal’s behaviour. The client agrees to accept these limitations and understands not all of the desired photographs may be possible.

5. Service provided on the photoshoot and photograph requests:

Pawfect Pet Photography retains the rights for the photographer to use their own discretion in terms of how the service of the photoshoot will be provided (e.g. choice of positioning, lighting, lenses, backdrops, appropriate props, etc.).

A photographer’s services are unique to each situation/photoshoot, and therefore, the images provided may differ to those produced by the photographer previously.

Requests for a specific photograph composition during the photoshoot are welcomed, however cannot be guaranteed by the photographer. Due to the variable and unpredictable nature of animals and the surrounding environment (e.g. light, weather and other forces beyond the photographer’s control), all photo requests will be aimed for but are not guaranteed.

6. Booking:

If the client requires a specific date for their photoshoot they should contact Pawfect Pet Photography in writing at pawfectpp@gmail.com to confirm the availability of the date they require BEFORE BOOKING (PAYING) FOR THE PHOTOSHOOT. If a client does not do this there is no guarantee the photoshoot will be able to take place on the date they desire, due to the photographer’s other commitments. As there is no way of checking date availability on the website, contacting and receiving a reply from Pawfect Pet Photography to confirm this date is suitable is the only way to guarantee date availability.

On the booking form on the website (pawfectpetphotography.com) there is an entry requirement to input preferred photoshoot dates. Filling this in this field does not guarantee date availability, but is used as a guide by the photographer on receiving the form.

If the client does not email to check date availability (if they require a specific date) before booking the photoshoot, their photoshoot will be booked for the first date suitable to both parties. If the client is not available for any suitable dates, then the terms of cancellation (point 9.) will apply.

Payment through the specified portal on the pawfectpetphotography.com website is the preferred payment method. Payment via credit/debit transfer or cash in person may be possible if agreed with Pawfect Pet Photography in advance and is deemed appropriate.

There is no booking fee or deposit required. There may however be cancellation or change of date charges if this occurs (see point 9.).

Payment for the photoshoot must be received in full before the stated date of the photoshoot, or the photographer will not attend the photoshoot. Payment for the products also needs to be received in full by Pawfect Pet photography before they will be dispatched to the client.

7. Attendance:

If the photographer is unable to attend due to illness, injury, bereavement (of both human or animal), travel delays and/or other unforeseen circumstances, Pawfect Pet Photography will rearrange the photoshoot to an alternative available date to suit both the client and the photographer. If this is not possible, a refund of the photoshoot cost will be provided to the client.

8. Post photoshoot editing:

Following the completion of the selected photoshoot at the location desired by the client for the duration specified on the website (/via email communication if for a custom photoshoot), the photos taken on the photoshoot will be edited to produce the final images. Pawfect Pet Photography will aim to provide the client with a preview of ONE final image within one week from the date of the photoshoot. This preview may be displayed on the pawfectpetphotography.com website or on the associated social media. The client agrees to the preview photo being displayed in these formats. If the clients does not wish for the preview to be displayed in the formats described above, the client should state this clearly in writing in an email to pawfectpp@gmail.com.

The timescale for the editing of the 10-15 final images will vary depending on a variety of circumstances including but not limited to; the schedule and other commitments, etc, that the photographer may have. Excluding extreme circumstances (as stated in point 14.), Pawfect Pet Photography will provide the client with the 15-20 final images within a time frame deemed appropriate by the photographer, based on the circumstances stated above. In general, final images will be produced and published within 4 weeks from the date of the photoshoot, subject to change depending on the above conditions. By agreeing to this contract the client is agreeing to the variable date of final image presentation based upon the above circumstances. This estimated 4 week time period does not include the time taken for products to be produced and distributed to the client.

All final images will be produced in chronological order from the date the photoshoot was taken in relation to other clients and the date of their photoshoot. The client understands any digital images provided/purchased will be provided in the JPEG format. No RAW files or unedited images will be released.

9. Cancellation, change of dates and late attendance of photoshoots:

Pawfect Pet Photography reserves the right to cancel a “muddy paws photoshoot” under certain weather conditions (e.g. rain, snow, high winds, etc), where it would be inappropriate for the shoot to go ahead in terms of the safety of the photographer, the client and their pet, the potential damage to the photographers equipment, the unlikelihood of producing photographs considering the weather conditions or any other situation deemed appropriate by the photographer. If the “muddy paws photoshoot” has to be cancelled by Pawfect Pet Photography they will contact the client via their email correspondence at least 1 hour before the shoot is supposed to commence. If the “muddy paws photoshoot” is cancelled by Pawfect Pet Photography every effort will be made to rearrange the photoshoot to another date which suits both the client and the photographer. If after attempts to rearrange the photoshoot Pawfect Pet Photography has to cancel the “muddy paws photoshoot” a refund may be available subject to a cancellation fee and at the photographers discretion. If, after attempts to rearrange the photoshoot, the client chooses to cancel the photoshoot this will result in a non-refundable charge of the cost of the agreed photoshoot, as described below. Any refunds made will be at the photographers discretion and inline with the client’s reason for cancellation.

Under the weather conditions stated above, the “comfy paws photoshoot” or “no paws photoshoot” will only take place within a house/building. Under the weather conditions stated above, the photographs will not occur in the garden unless under a suitable shelter as deemed appropriate by the photographer.

Cancellation of the photoshoot by the client 60 days prior to the date of the photoshoot will not result in any fee and a full refund will be provided. Cancellation of the photoshoot within 60-1 days of the date of the photoshoot will result in a non-refundable charge of £50. Cancellation of the photoshoot within 24 hours of the date of the photoshoot will result in a non-refundable charge of the cost of the agreed photoshoot. If a cancellation is requested it should be submitted in writing to pawfectpp@gmail.com. Similarly, if the client does not attend the photoshoot on the agreed date in the agreed location, this will result in a non-refundable charge of the cost of the agreed photoshoot.

If a client wishes to request a change of date of the photoshoot, this should be submitted in writing to pawfectpp@gmail.com. This request is not confirmed until the client receives a reply from Pawfect Pet Photography stating that this date change is approved. If the date is changed to the satisfaction of both the client and the photographer 60 days prior to the original photoshoot date, no fee will occur. If the photoshoot date is changed within 60 days of the original photoshoot date there may be an additional charge. This is subject to the photographer’s discretion. If a suitable change of photoshoot date cannot be agreed between both parties, then the terms of cancellation shall apply.

If the client is late in attending the photoshoot at the agreed location and time, then Pawfect Pet Photography reserves the right to end the photoshoot before the time stated on the website, based on how late the client is in attending the photoshoot.

Facebook post (6/8/20). Free cancellation is determined as stated in the policy above. Free change of date up to 48hrs before the photoshoot date is only valid until the 1/12/20. This may be extended but is subject to Pawfect Pet Photography’s own discretion. Change of date is subject to availability.

10. Limited Liability:

Although due care will be taken with digital files, storage discs, memory cards, other photographic/computer equipment and final images, Pawfect Pet Photography limits its liability for loss, damage or failure to deliver final images due to any reason. In the unlikely event this should happen, a full refund of any products (in association with the photoshoot) already purchased will be provided to the client. Additionally, if deemed appropriate by Pawfect Pet Photography under the relevant circumstances, if all the photos taken from the single photoshoot are lost, damaged or are unable to be provided to the client for any technical or electronic reason, Pawfect Pet Photography will arrange another replacement photoshoot with the client and the same animals as in the original photoshoot, free of charge to the client.

Pawfect Pet Photography is not liable for any financial losses incurred by the client under these circumstances, including but not limited to; loss of earnings, travel expenses, etc.

Pawfect Pet Photography is insured with appropriate public liability and professional indemnity insurance.

11. Copyright and use on social media:

Pawfect Pet Photography retains the exclusive rights regarding use of all final images. By agreeing to this contract, the client provides their permission that final images will be used on Pawfect Pet Photography’s website/social media, public display, as examples for potential clients, advertisement and any further use deemed appropriate by Pawfect Pet Photography. The client provides this permission on behalf of themselves and any other individuals involved in the photoshoot.

Pawfect Pet Photography will store final images for a minimum of 3 months from the date of the photoshoot. Pawfect Pet Photography reserves the right to continue to use final images from the photoshoots on their website, social media etc (as stated above) for a time period greater than 3 months past the date of the photoshoot. This is at the discretion of Pawfect Pet Photography.

If the client objects to the final images being used on the Pawfect Pet Photography website, social media, etc (as stated above), they should request deletion of the images via a written request to pawfectpp@gmail.com. Pawfect Pet Photography will be happy to respect the clients request for privacy. Although when deletion is requested, Pawfect Pet Photography will respect the client’s request for privacy, once an image has been used online or in printed publications it will be very difficult to recall it if consent is withdrawn, Pawfect Pet Photography cannot be responsible for these images.

The client is provided with permission for royalty-free printing rights of the final images for personal use only. Prints can be distributed with family and friends. They can also display the images on their own personal social media accounts. Direct downloading or use of screen-capture from the client paw-folio or any other area of the website or associated social media is prohibited. The use of final images for commercial purposes is prohibited without written permission from Pawfect Pet Photography. Further editing of final images by the client or third party services, including mobile application filters (e.g. Instagram) or other, is strictly prohibited.

The use of final images by suppliers and third parties is prohibited without written consent from Pawfect Pet Photography. The use of images without written permission from Pawfect Pet Photography will result in the issuing of a breach of copyright notice and requirement to pay compensation per image used. This applies to all images on the website (pawfectpetphotography.com/…) and associated social medias.

12. Delivery of products:

Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between Pawfect Pet Photography and the client will take place on despatch of the products ordered unless we have notified you otherwise. We do not file details of your order for you to subsequently access directly on this website, therefore, please print out these terms and conditions and the order acknowledgement for your own records.

(a) Products associated with photoshoots:

(i) Delivery: The time taken for Pawfect Pet Photography to provide clients with any purchased products featuring photos from their photoshoot will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to; the photographer’s schedule and other commitments, illness, injury, etc, therefore, by agreeing to this contract clients are aware delivery times for products will vary. In general, products produced by Pawfect Pet Photography will aim to be dispatched for delivery within 4 weeks of the client submitting their final photo ID codes in relation to the relevant products purchased. As some products are purchased through a third party, Pawfect Pet Photography cannot take responsibility for delivery times. When Pawfect Pet Photography receives the products from the third party, products will aim to be dispatched within 4 weeks of product arrival however this is susceptible to change due to the factors stated above. Some personal information (eg. Name and addresses) may be shared with these third parties, for the purpose of delivering your order directly to you. Please contact me prior to ordering if you do not wish for these third parties to dispatch directly to you.

(ii) Returns: Due to the personalised nature of these products, they are non-returnable, unless faulty. If products produced by Pawfect Pet Photography arrive with the client damaged, the client should immediately contact Pawfect Pet Photography via email (pawfectpp@gmail.com) to inform of the situation, sending attached photos of; the damaged product, any other products in the same order, and the packaging.

Product postage and packaging is free of charge to the client unless otherwise stated.

13. Products:

Some/all of the products sold on pawfectpetphotography.com/products… are produced using third party companies. There are limitations to these products. These are stated on the description page of each product as well as below. By agreeing to this policy, the client agrees to the potential restrictions on these products.

The colour of the mount the photographic print is provided in may vary in colour from the white design shown in the picture.
Photos may require significant cropping in order to fit the desired artwork chosen.
The colours of the frames and album covers may differ slightly from those shown on the website.

As a client it is your responsibility to regularly inspect your products in terms of their safety. At the slightest sign of deterioration or potential safety risk, please ensure you dispose of the product appropriately. Pawfect Pet Photography does not take any responsibility for any injury, illness or death, etc caused to any pets and/or humans from any products sold by Pawfect Pet Photography (Pawfectpetphotography.com/…). Please keep away from pets and children.

14. Extreme events:

Extreme events are considered but not limited to; flood, fire, political restrictions, war, travel restrictions, disease outbreak, etc.

The validity of this contract is dependent on these extreme events.

15. Allergies, intolerance or dietary requirements:

In the booking form there is a section to input allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements of the pets in the photoshoot, the client or any persons accompanying the client in the photoshoot. It is solely the client’s responsibility to disclose any of these conditions in this form. Although every effort will be made by Pawfect Pet Photography to ensure these conditions are adhered to, it is SOLELY THE CLIENTS RESPONSIBILTY to ensure that all treats/food/toys provided to the pets during the photoshoot are safe for the pet, client and any persons accompanying the client, and will not affect any allergies, intolerances, dietary requirements, etc that the animals, client or persons with the client may have.

It is also solely the client’s responsibility to mediate treats/food/toys given to the pets during the photoshoot. Pawfect Pet Photography is not liable for effects caused to the animals, client or persons with the client during the photoshoot including but not limited to; illness, sickness, diarrhoea, increased weight, hyperactivity, increased blood sugars or salts, pain, injury or death.

16. Conduct:

The photographer will not tolerate any physical or abusive behaviour from the client or any person associated with the client. Prior warning of the animal’s temperament must be given. The photographer will not tolerate any physical abuse from the animals associated with the client. In such cases where the animal or client’s behaviour is deemed inappropriate, the photographer reserves the right to cease the photoshoot session immediately, with no refund to the client.

17. Illegal pets:

Pawfect Pet Photography will not photograph illegal pets under any circumstances.

Prior to booking the photoshoot there is an area for the client to disclose the species of their pet. It is the client’s responsibility to disclose this information accurately and correctly. If the species they state is illegal, the photoshoot will not go ahead, the client will receive a full refund, and the relevant police or government departments will be contacted to investigate this. If on arrival for the photoshoot the photographer learns that the pet in question is illegal then the photographer will cease the photoshoot immediately with no refund to the client. Again the relevant police and government departments will be contacted. If asked for, it is the client’s responsibility to disclose any permits obtained for the relevant species. It is up to the photographer’s discretion whether to take photographs of certain species (eg. wild animals kept as pets), even if the owner holds the relevant permits.

Throughout the pawfectpetphotography.com/… website and associated social media there will be photographs of a variety of species which are not pets. These photographs have been taken in the wild or in respectable zoos and wildlife parks. These photographs are displayed on these media platforms in order to educate about these animals and will be sold on products (not associated with the photoshoots) in order to raise money to be donated to a selected animal charity. Pawfect Pet Photography does not support the keeping of illegal animals or the trade of taking animals from the wild.

18. Gift vouchers:

18. Gift vouchers/cards:

Unless otherwise stated the term ‘gift card’ refers to physical gift cards, e-gift cards, physical gift vouchers and e-gift vouchers.

Gift cards can be purchased for yourself or for another person. By purchasing or using a Gift Card the client (person buying the gift card) is indicating that they agree to all of the terms and conditions in this agreement. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to inform the intended cardholder that usage of the Gift Card is subject to these terms and conditions. Pawfect Pet Photography reserves the right to contact the person/people involved in the photoshoot and ask them to read and agree to these terms and conditions independently of the person who purchased the gift card.

All gift cards are sent to the purchaser via email. This provides the client with the option to forward the email to the recipient or print it out, as preferred. The gift card will be sent via email to the purchaser within 7 days of the order being placed. Due to the personalised nature of this gift card and the limits of the website, please be aware this time is required as each gift card is designed and sent by a person and is not created automatically.

Pawfect Pet Photography gift cards are valid for 12 months from date of purchase. A Gift Card automatically expires once its balance has been exhausted. An order confirmation email will be sent to the purchaser following the purchase of a Gift card. You will not be sent reminders to inform you that your gift card is about to expire.

Gift Cards are not a credit, debit or cheque guarantee cards and cannot be redeemed for cash, returned or refunded. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Gift Cards or eGift Cards cannot be used for the purchase of other gift cards or vouchers.

Pawfect Pet Photography reserves the right to decline or withdraw Gift Cards, and the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.

Gift Cards must be treated like cash. Pawfect Pet Photography is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged Gift Cards and they will not be replaced. You will not earn interest on the balance of a Gift Card.

All photoshoots must be within the radius stated on the website and in this terms and conditions (point 2). Photoshoots outside this radius may incur additional charges.

Gift cards only apply to residents of the UK.

18.1 Photoshoot gift cards:

Photoshoot gift cards are purchased at the current price of a photoshoot at the current time of gift card purchase. These gift cards provide the client with a full photoshoot as stated on the website and in this terms and conditions. These can be redeemed at any point before the expiry date and provide a full photoshoot regardless of the price of the photoshoot at time of redemption. (Ie. If the gift voucher is purchased for £65, but at the time the client wants to redeem the voucher photoshoots are £150, the client will still receive a full photoshoot for £65, as this was the price stipulated when the photoshoot gift card was purchased). A photoshoot gift card can only be redeemed for a photoshoot. To arrange the photoshoot from this gift card, please send an email to pawfectpp@gmail.com quoting the unique code. This does not apply to general gift cards, please see the conditions below (18.2).

18.2: General gift cards:

To utilise a gift card, the unique code should be entered into the discount code bar during checkout. All other gift cards can be redeemed against a photoshoot, products available for purchase in conjunction with a photoshoot or Pawfect Prezzies gifts. Any gift cards redeemed against a photoshoot is deducted from the current photoshoot price at the time of booking, (not the time the gift card was purchased, as stipulated for the photoshoot gift card in 18.1). Gift cards can be redeemed in one purchase or in multiple. The value of your purchase(s) will be deducted from the balance on your Gift card; any remaining balance can be used against future purchases. If you purchase is in excess of the value on the Gift card, the client will be required to pay the difference using another payment method.

19. Charity:

5% of the profits from all physical products sold in the online shop at pawfectpetphotography.com/… will be donated to the charity chosen at the time. This applies to both the products purchased after an associated photoshoot and the other products available for purchase. This not apply to services provided (e.g. photoshoots).

Although stated on the website and associated social medias as “this year ‘s chosen charity”, this is described loosely and is not an accurate description of time and it is up to the discretion of Pawfect Pet Photography as to when the chosen charity is changed. It is also up to the discretion of Pawfect Pet Photography as to which animal charity is chosen. Although clients can request a charity, clients understand that this is not a confirmation that the charity they request will be chosen.

21. Covid-19:

The safety of the clients and their pets is the main priority of Pawfect Pet Photography. In order to maintain safety, a number of measures will be put in place by both myself (Pawfect Pet Photography) and the client to minimise transmission of the virus.

21.1 Measures taken by Pawfect Pet Photography:

- Pawfect Pet Photography will ensure to maintain 2m social distancing between other individuals.

- Where photoshoots take place within a building (ie. someone’s house), the photographer will wear a face mask.

- Pawfect Pet Photography will ensure to arrange photoshoots with different clients to reduce the risk of transmission between clients.

- The number of people attending the photoshoot will be limited. Only individuals from a single household or household bubble will be able to attend the photoshoot. Any individuals not involved in the photoshoot will not be able to attend/spectate.

- Personal hygiene will be maintained by the photographer, by regular handwashing and sanitisation.

- The client will informed IMMEDIATELY if the photographer, any members of the photographer’s household/bubble develop symptoms of Coronavirus or is told to self-isolate by a contact tracer. If this situation occurs before the photoshoot, the photographer WILL NOT ATTEND the photoshoot. The photoshoot will be rearranged or refunded at no cost to the client.

- The client’s contact details will be stored for 21 days, as required by contact tracing-Track, trace and protect system, should they need to be contacted with regards to Coronavirus.

- The photographer will take any other measures possible to reduce the risk of transmission to the client.

21.2 Measures taken by the client:

- The client will be required to maintain 2m social distancing with individuals who are not part of the same household/bubble.

- The client will be required to wear a face mask in public premises as required by law, unless exempt.

- The client will be required to inform Pawfect Pet Photography IMMEDIATELY if they, any members of their household/bubble develop symptoms of Coronavirus or are told to self-isolate by a contact tracer. If this situation occurs before the photoshoot, the client CANNOT ATTEND the photoshoot. The photoshoot will be rearranged or refunded at no cost to the client.

- If the photoshoot occurs within the client’s household, the client is required to ensure the area is well ventilated prior, during and after the photoshoot, where possible. (Ie. opening doors and windows to reduce the risk of transmission).

- Where the photoshoots occur within the client’s household, the photographer requests that the area where the photoshoot will take place, be cleaned in advance of the photoshoot.

- The client it requested to take nay other measures required by the Welsh Government or as they deem appropriate.

22. Sales and promotional offers and events:

Pawfect pet photography will periodically offer sales, promotional offers and competitions on their website, pawfectpetphotography.com/… and associated social medias.

Breed of the Month model search:

The photoshoot will be for one hour at a location on a date as specified by the photographer. The client may be given a few choices in location/date, however refusal of 5 different date and/or location options will result in being removed from the model search and the photoshoot will not be provided. The photoshoot will be a different in length to those stated elsewhere on this website. The photoshoot will be FREE meaning the client will not incur any cost for the photoshoot. No photos are included with the photoshoot. The model search includes a £20 artwork credit voucher which can only be redeemed against any wall art, album, collection or package. The artwork credit cannot be redeemed against any prints or digital photos. This artwork credit does not cover the cost of any wall art/album, the client will have to cover the cost of the rest. Any photos and/or photo products the client would like from this photoshoot are available for purchase. The offer cannot be exchanged for any other service or for money. The newsletter is provided by a third party company: MailerLite, and by agreeing to sign up for the Very Important Pet Newsletter, the client confirms that their email address will be passed onto MailerLite in order to provide this, and therefore, will be regulated by MailerLite’s GDPR policy. As Pawfect Pet Photography newsletter is provided by MailerLite, although options limiting MailerLite access to your data is limited to the best of Pawfect Pet Photography ability, we cannot guarantee what access MailerLite has to your information, or therefore, shares with third parties, etc.

Spaniel £45 photoshoot offer:

Is limited to the first three people who book. The photoshoot will be for one hour at a location on a date as specified by the photographer. The client may be given a few choices in location/date, however refusal of 6 different date and/or location options will result in being removed from the model search and the photoshoot will not be provided, incurring a cancellation charge of the cost of the photoshoot (£45). This will also apply if the client books a selected date and cancels within 2 months prior to the arranged date or if they do not attend their booked session. If given notice and depending on the photographers availability, it may be possible to change location/date, at the photographers discretion. The photoshoot will be a different in length to those stated elsewhere on this website. No photos are included with the photoshoot. The model search includes a £20 artwork credit voucher which can only be redeemed against any wall art, album, collection or package. The artwork credit cannot be redeemed against any prints or digital photos. This artwork credit does not cover the cost of any wall art/album, the client will have to cover the cost of the rest. Any photos and/or photo products the client would like from this photoshoot are available for purchase. The offer cannot be exchanged for any other service or for money. The newsletter is provided by a third party company: MailerLite, and by agreeing to sign up for the Very Important Pet Newsletter, the client confirms that their email address will be passed onto MailerLite in order to provide this, and therefore, will be regulated by MailerLite’s GDPR policy. Introductory offer:

The introductory offer of both the comfy paws and muddy paws photoshoot at £65 instead of the original £150, is offered for a limited period of a MAXIMUM of 1 year from the date of business launch (28/6/20). The length of this offer may be reduced, subject to the discretion of Pawfect Pet Photography. After this period, the price of the photoshoot will return to £150. This offer applies to photoshoots purchased during the offer period. The actual photoshoot itself can occur outside of this time frame provided it has been paid for during the promotional time period. Pawfect pet Photography reserves the right to end a promotional offer, sale or competition early, before the date stated on the website (pawfectpetphotography.com/…) or associated social media.

Facebook competition (July/August 2020, 2022)

Entrants must be 18 years or over. The competition on Facebook and other associated social media requires the client to complete all steps stated on the original Facebook post in order to be entered into the competition. All comments must be made on the original Facebook post launched by Pawfect Pet Photography in order for the entry to be valid. Pawfect Pet Photography is not responsible for the users social media settings. The photoshoot will be for the duration stated on the Facebook post and may be different in length to those stated elsewhere on this website. The photoshoot will be FREE meaning the client will not incur any cost for the photoshoot. No photos or photo products are included as part of this offer. Any photos and/or photo products the client would like from this photoshoot are available for purchase. The offer cannot be exchanged for any other service or for money. Due to current social distancing measures, photoshoots cannot currently take place indoors. If the client would like an indoor photoshoot as a result of winning this competition, the photoshoot date will be arranged for a suitable date subject to social distancing measures and government guidelines. Photoshoots can occur outdoors in both gardens and or public places, so long as social distancing is feasible and can occur based on government guidelines. This offer is suitable for all pet species.

2022 competition, the same as above applies, with the addition of a £15 art credit voucher which can be redeemed against any wall art, book/album, package or collection. This art credit cannot be redeemed against mounted prints or digitals.

Colby Woodland Garden Mini Photoshoots:

The mini photoshoot will be up to 20 minutes in duration and is available for only dogs and their families. Only 2 dogs per family is recommended. Time slots are to be booked in accordance with availability. Failure to attend your selected time slot will result in your photoshoot being forfeited and passed to another family. The mini-photoshoot is free, all photos are to be purchased separately in the form of wall art, album/book, mounted prints, digitals, collections or packages. Parking charges at Colby Woodland Gardens apply. Parking is free for National Trust and Blue badge holders. Photos are shown for promotional purposes only, this does not guarantee this style of shot. Pawfect Pet Photography and the National Trust reserve the right to use all photos from the event for any purpose deemed appropriate respectively. All other terms and conditions listed above/below apply.

Free photoshoot at events (as of 6.9.22):

Participants will be entered into the competition on completion of an entry form. By entering the competition participants will be signed up to receive emails newsletters and promotions etc. Email newsletter can be unsubscribed at any time. The winner will be selected at random from the entrants. The photoshoot will be a ‘muddy paws’ photoshoot, as specified on the website at the time of the event (Ie. 2 hour photoshoot on location, secure digital gallery of selected edited images to choose from, 3 prints (1xA4 and 2xA5) are also included. All other artwork to be purchased separately). Photoshoots will be held at a date suitable for both the competition winner and the photographer. All other terms and conditions listed on this page apply).

23. What information do we collect?

We may collect, store and use the following kinds of personal information:

(a) information about your computer and about your visits to and use of the website www.pawfectpetphotography.com/... and/or associated social media sites (including your IP address, geographical location, browser type and version, operating system, referral source, length of visit, page views and website navigation);

(c) information that you provide Pawfect Pet Photography in terms of an enquiry submitted via the contact form(s) included on the website or the forms required to complete when purchasing a photoshoot or products. These includes names, addresses, email and telephone numbers, pet information (such as name, breed, colour etc), and food allergies, intolerances and dietary requirements of both the animals and the client or people associated with the client who may be affected by any foods fed to the animal during the photoshoot.

(d) In the lead up to the client’s photoshoot email communications will occur between both parties for necessary communication regarding the photoshoot arrangements (eg. logistics, timings, location etc) and after the photoshoot regarding the production of the final images, the release of the preview, the release of the final images and any other correspondence deemed necessary by either party.

(e) Any reviews of the products and/or services provided that the client chooses to share online may be shared and/or copied and displayed on the website (pawfectpetphotography.co.uk..) or associated social media.

(f) any other information that you choose to send to us.

23. Why your information is needed and how it is used:

(a) to provide you with the services, such as providing your photoshoot, fulfilling your order, to settle disputes or to provide customer support.

(b) if necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law.

(c) as necessary for the purpose of my legitimate interests, if those legitimate interests are not overridden by your rights or interests, such as 1) providing and improving my services. I use your information to provide the services you requested and in my legitimate interest to improve my services;

Your personal information and it’s privacy is very important. I will only share your personal information for a limited number of reasons and in limited circumstances:

Pawfect Pet Photography will maintain the privacy and confidentiality of any personal information you provide; such as your name, address, email address, telephone number, pet details or food allergies, intolerances and dietary requirements. Because your privacy is so important, we maintain this website privacy policy to protect your personal information. In order to fulfill your artwork order, some personal information (eg. name and addresses) may be shared with the third party companies who produce the artwork (and therefore associated courier/delivery services), for the purpose of delivering your order directly to you. Please contact me prior to ordering if you do not wish for these third parties to dispatch directly to you at pawfectpp@gmail.com or if you wish to see a copy of their term, conditions and privacy notice.

25. Cookies

A cookie consists of information sent by a web server to a web browser, and stored by the browser. 26. Data Storage and Security

Internet-based data transmissions may in principle have security gaps, so absolute protection may not be guaranteed. For this reason, clients are more than welcome to transfer personal data to Pawfect Pet Photography via alternative means, e.g. by telephone.

The length of time your data is securely stored for varies depending on the nature of the data itself: payment, contact and event-specific information is stored long enough to complete the event itself and tax returns etc, with a cooling off period of 2 years should any queries or disputes arise.

By agreeing to this contract clients are entered into the opt-in system in regard to the use of the final images, as stated in section 9. of this contract. Final images will be kept for a minimum of 3 months, and images which Pawfect Pet Photography deems appropriate for the website/social media will be kept for a minimum of 5 years. In respect to the client’s privacy, should they wish to opt-out of this system, they should request this clearly in writing to pawfectpp@gmail.com.

As Pawfect Pet Photography website is operated by Squarespace, although options limiting Squarespace’s access to your data is limited to the best of Pawfect Pet Photography ability, we cannot guarantee what access Squarespace has to your information, or therefore, shares with third parties, etc.

27. Emails

By acknowledging your explicit understanding and agreement with this privacy policy via the confirmation when filling out our contact form on the website. You agree that Pawfect Pet Photography will contact you in regard to your enquiry via the contact information you provided. Email communication between both parties will occur in regard to the photoshoot arrangements (e.g. logistics, timings, location etc) and after the photoshoot regarding the production of the final images, the release of the preview, the release of the final images, product ordering, product dispatch/delivery and any other correspondence deemed necessary by either party. Pawfect Pet Photography will never send you emails asking for personal information such as passwords or payment information, should you receive such emails, please contact us immediately in a separate email so we may investigate this.

Pawfectpetphotography.com and associated social media will contains links to other websites. Pawfect Pet Photography is not responsible for the privacy policies, views, opinions or practices of third party websites.

29. Your rights

Please let us know if the personal information which we hold about you needs to be corrected or updated. The client has the right to deletion of data including personal information on previous backups and current systems.

This privacy policy is effective from 28/06/20 in line with new GDPR guidelines. This privacy policy may be updated from time-to-time by posting a new version on our website. You should check this page occasionally to ensure you are happy with any changes.
